The pitfalls of free trade
How the offensive of capital in South America has worked

From the crisis of the early 70s and the sharp drop in profit rate, a new offensive from capital takes place to impose a new model of accumulation. From which there can be identified various stages and different forms of political domination. The characteristics of each step, in turn, are contradictory social processes, and involve complexities, advances and setbacks characteristic of the development of capital trends and the correlation of forces in each country.
